RKK, LTD. Patents

The Company has received or been assigned the rights to seven U.S. patents, six of which relate to the use of frozen soil for containment, isolation, mobilization, removal and/or remediation of hazardous or radioactive materials in the earth. RKK has also applied for patents in 28 foreign countries; to date, patents have been granted in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Greece, India, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, and Taiwan. Patents are pending in the majority of European countries, and certain countries in South America and Asia.

RKK has a registered trademark on the term CRYOCELL and has copyrighted its thermodynamic modeling program. A significant portion of the capital being sought at this time will be used for the maintenance of current domestic and foreign patents, the search for additional patent protection, and the registering of the terms ISOCELL, CRYOSWEEP and the names of any other technologies it develops.
